The Dolder Grand

The somewhat outdated luxury hotel was closed in 2004 and completely restored and expanded. A new corporate design concept was developed by a third party. This was for the first time that signage was applied, further developed and implemented. The building’s owner wanted signage which was of quality and elegance, whilst also being unpretentious and unobtrusive.
The resulting product fits perfectly with the specific architectural environment and accompanies the guests in an unobtrusive manner in the front of the house area. In the overall process, the complete wording and nomenclature were elaborated together with the management. This formed the basis of all names of places, spaces and infrastructure and was later adopted in the general communication and marketing. Its’ order is based on logic and importance.
