The Novartis Campus project transforms the work area around St. Johann in Basel into a campus of knowledge, innovation and encounter. The work environment should promote a rapid exchange of knowledge, collaboration and innovation.
The laboratory building, by Yoshio Taniguchi, was designed in Japanese tradition, with extreme simplicity and precision. The design of signage, with a linear font, picks up the design language of the vertical and horizontal grids in the architecture.
